Product Story

Double Chocolate Chip Shortbread Biscuits

Sawley Kitchen's Double Chocolate Chip Shortbread Biscuits bring together a chocolate shortbread base and chocolate chips in a familiar finger shape. Their deep colour and simple finish make the chocolate character clear before the first bite, while the chips carry it through each biscuit.

They are presented in a clear bag, gathered and tied at the top with Sawley Kitchen's label. The biscuits are baked in Ripon, North Yorkshire, where the artisan bakery uses traditional methods and vintage family recipes across its collection.

Serve them simply, a few at a time on a small plate. Their finger shape is easy to pick up, and the combination of chocolate biscuit and chocolate chips keeps the flavour squarely in chocolate territory.

A Wye Knot closer look

A more personal find

Chocolate appears in both the shortbread and the chips, so this Sawley Kitchen version suits a definite chocolate preference. It still has the familiar finger shape of traditional shortbread, while the extra chocolate gives it a stronger character than a plain bake. The comparison with classic shortbread is pleasingly straightforward.
